Our products are created in medium sized batches to keep them fresh, if we are out of stock it could take 5-7 days for stock to be made or 6 weeks if it is a cold process soap.

SERVICES EXPLAINED:

OVN: Usually overnight but to Cape Town & outer regions this may take longer. This is also the case during peak periods.

Your parcel is only collected by the courier the day after payment is received. So an overnight service is based on your date of parcel collection, not on the date your order was placed.

ECO: 3-4 working days

SURCHARGES

• HIGH-RISK ZONES -These areas are considered unsafe for couriers to travel and a surcharge (over and above the shipping  cost) is applied.  An invoice will be sent prior to dispatch should you reside in a "high-risk"-considered area.  Please use this link to check - type the word "SURCHARGE" in the search box and scroll for your area. 

• OUTLYING AREAS -  These are areas that fall outside of the main delivery centres.  An additional surcharge of up to R250 may apply for outlying areas.  An invoice will be sent to you for payment prior to dispatch. ​​

 

HIGH-RISK ZONES /POLICE STATION DELIVERIES

The Courier Guy, like many courier services in South Africa, designates certain areas as high-risk ("red zones" or "hotspots") due to high rates of theft, hijacking, and security concerns. In these areas, doorstep delivery is often replaced by delivery to the nearest police station or a secure locker.

• Red Risk Zones (High-Risk Areas)
  While the list is dynamic and updated by courier partners, the following areas in South Africa are frequently identified as high-risk for deliveries:

Gauteng:

• Soweto: The entire area.

• Thembisa/Tembisa (including Clayville – Olifantsfontein).

• Katlehong and Vosloorus.

• Cosmo City.

• Eldorado Park and Devland.

• Krugersdorp: Azaadville, Chamdor.

• Other areas: Sebokeng, Kaalfontein, Ivory Park, Vorna Valley.

 

KwaZulu-Natal (KZN):

• Umlazi.

• Umbumbulu.

• Westville North.

• Various townships and specific roads like Blamey Road.

 

Other Regions:

• Eastern Cape: Mthatha (certain areas).

• Various Townships/Remote Areas: Many areas outside main city centers, rural areas, or mine locations.

Important Information for High-Risk Areas:

• Police Station Deliveries: In many of these areas, parcels are delivered to the nearest police station, and you will be required to collect them.

• Surcharge: A high-risk surcharge (e.g., R80.50 + VAT) may apply to deliveries in these areas.

• PUDO Locker Alternative: Using a PUDO locker or kiosk is recommended to avoid high-risk surcharges.

• Verification: To confirm if your specific address is a high-risk zone, it is recommended to type "SURCHARGE" into the search box on their tracking or booking platform or call them to verify.

DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

• We all love free shipping and we would like to offer free shipping, but there is just no way we could!  We are a wholesale/bulk business so we do not include the cost of shipping into our prices.  Our shipping services  are provided by The Courier Guy and we can not absorb the cost. 

• Shipping is never free, most companies just add it to your order.
