  ✅ Finalise your first recipe: 60% olive, 25% coconut, 15% palm (or other hard oil).

  ✅ Use a 5% superfat.

Prep and Plan Your First Soap

Objective: Finalise a basic recipe and prep your space.

Tasks:

• Finalise your first recipe: try 60% olive oil, 25% coconut oil, 15% palm oil. Use 5% superfat and 33% water.

• Use a lye calculator to double-check lye and water amounts.

• Check your equipment, gloves, goggles, and mixing bowls.

• Clean and organise your work area.

• Pre-line your mould if not silicone.

Tips:

• Keep it unscented and uncoloured to focus on process.

• Print out your recipe and write down each step before you start.
